Volleyball Recap: Licking Heights Wins Going Away Against Northridge

Licking Heights had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Northridge on Thursday. The Hornets blew past the Vikings 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hornets also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Licking Heights never let Northridge on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-19, 25-22.

Brooklyn Hall paced Licking Heights' offense, picking up 11 kills. Hall got some help from Kameron Erskine and her 16 assists. Hall was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Licking Heights now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Northridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-6.

Licking Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northridge, they are taking a road trip to challenge Heath at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
