Volleyball Recap: Tampa Catholic Takes a Loss

Tampa Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Academy of the Holy Names Jaguars, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 two weeks ago.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-20, 25-20.

Tampa Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Academy of the Holy Names, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Tampa Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Keswick Christian on the 7th. As for Academy of the Holy Names, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Leon on the 3rd.
