Soccer Game Recap: Clinton vs. DeSoto Central

The Clinton Arrows had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Their defense stepped up to hand DeSoto Central a 7-0 shutout on Tuesday. Clinton might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won ten games by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting DeSoto Central from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal.

Clinton's victory bumped their record up to 18-1-4. As for DeSoto Central, they dropped their record down to 6-10-2 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Clinton's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Hernando at 6:00 p.m. on February 9th. Clinton is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season. DeSoto Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
