Softball Recap: Raymond Takes a Loss

The Raymond Rangers lost 13-3 to the Bay Springs Bulldogs on Tuesday. The contest marked the Rangers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Caliyah Schuller made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Raymond and nudges their season record down to 4-2. As for Bay Springs, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Raymond will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Richland at 6:15 p.m. As for Bay Springs, they will welcome Northeast Jones at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
