Basketball Recap: Eastwood Takes a Loss

Eastwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 39-27 to the Lake Flyers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 42-27 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Eastwood's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Lake, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastwood will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Patrick Henry at 7:00 p.m. on December 30th. Lake will take on Elmwood in a holiday battle at at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
