Calumet Christian put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Victory Christian Academy Lions. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 last Saturday.

In the three sets Calumet Christian was on fire: they won each by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 21-25, 25-10, 25-13.

Their offense was headlined by Hannah Rohn and Makenna Landkrohn, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Janelle Barbarossa and her 14 assists. Rohn also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Amanda Ford, racking up four apiece.

Despite the loss, Victory Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Bella Herrold, who had 25 digs. Josephine Pals also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Calumet Christian's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Victory Christian Academy, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-3.

Calumet Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against North Newton on the 30th. Victory Christian Academy has also already played their next game (against Mishawaka HomeSchool W), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
