It was a good run, but Maple Hill unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-match winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Chatham Panthers by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Chatham this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in August.

Maple Hill's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 7-3. As for Chatham, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.
