Volleyball Recap: Green Hope Falls Short Against Ranked Green Level

Green Hope faced Green Level in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Falcons lost 3-0 to the Gators. The Falcons have struggled against the Gators recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Taylor Bruce paced Green Hope's offense, picking up 12 kills. Bruce got some help from Chloe Burbage and her 22 assists. Xueli Wang controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Green Hope's defeat dropped their record down to 13-1. As for Green Level, their win was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-0.

Green Hope wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Apex Friendship on the 18th. As for Green Level, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Seaforth on the 17th.
