North Edgecombe hadn't done well against Northampton County recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The North Edgecombe Warriors really took it to the Northampton County Jaguars for the full four quarters, racking up a 62-35 victory. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Northampton County had strong showings from Lydia Deloatch, who went 6 for 7 on her way to 15 points, and Kaiyah Cherry, who went 5 of 7 en route to 11 points. That's the most points Deloatch has posted since back in January of 2024.
