Volleyball Recap: Ingalls Gets the Win

Ingalls won the last time they faced Pawnee Heights and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bulldogs walked away with a 2-0 win over the Tigers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Ingalls was: they took both sets by at least 17 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-8.

Olivia Stein paced Ingalls' offense, picking up 13 kills. Stein got some help from Jill Schmeeckle and her 12 assists. Schmeeckle was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Ingalls' victory bumped their record up to 24-5. As for Pawnee Heights, their defeat ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-20.

Ingalls didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Spearville on the 11th. As for Pawnee Heights, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 0-0 tie against Satanta on the 11th.
