Basketball Game Preview: Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy Royals vs. Providence School Stallions

The Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy Royals and the Providence School Stallions will round out the year against one another at at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Providence School likes a good challenge.

Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy will head into Friday's contest on the come-up: they were handed a 24-point defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene last Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Holy Name, sneaking past 61-59.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Providence School). They enjoyed a cozy 71-57 victory over Palm Bay on Friday. The win was familiar territory for the Stallions who have now won three games in a row.

Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Providence School, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.
