Softball Recap: West Fork Comes Up Short

After soaring to 17 runs the game before, West Fork was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They came up short against the Elkins Elks, falling 11-1. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Elks recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

West Fork saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Clara Harderson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base. Harderson has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

West Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Elkins, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-8.

Coming up, West Fork will take on Lincoln at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Elkins, they will challenge Charleston at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
