Hemlock is 6-1 against Nouvel Catholic Central since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Huskies will welcome the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Monday.

John Carlson and Mathew Kusowski were a major factor while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Carlson struck out seven batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Meanwhile, Kusowski tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. At the plate, Carlson scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3, while Kusowski went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

In other batting news, Owen Vance was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, four RBI, and one run. Cam Kaul was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.
