Cathedral Catholic dropped their record down to 19-11 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's six-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Point Loma Pointers by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Dons' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Cathedral Catholic saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Diezel Hernandez, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

As for Point Loma, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-12-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games.

On Point Loma's side, they got a great performance from Luis Lara as he didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. Lara has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

As of now, neither Cathedral Catholic nor Point Loma have any future games scheduled.
