Softball Recap: Millennium Takes a Loss

Millennium saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 9-4 to the Valley Christian Trojans. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nayelli Banuelos was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances. She also put up a stolen base, which was her first of the season.

Millennium's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Valley Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Millennium will venture away from home to face off against Shadow Ridge at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Valley Christian, they will head out on the road to square off against Globe at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
