Softball Recap: Nevada Union Miners vs. Ponderosa Bruins

After flying high against Placer last Thursday, Nevada Union came back down to earth. The Nevada Union Miners lost 16-1 to the Ponderosa Bruins on Wednesday. Nevada Union has not had much luck with Ponderosa recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Nevada Union saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison King, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

On Ponderosa's side, they got a massive performance out of Haley Arroyo, who went 1-for-1 with a home run, three runs, and four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Molly McFarland, who scored two runs while going 4-for-4.

Nevada Union's loss dropped their record down to 4-20-1. As for Ponderosa, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.
