Basketball Recap: Heath Finds Playoff Glory Versus Lakewood

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Heath walked away with it. They snuck past the Lakewood Lancers with a 35-30 win on Saturday. The 35-point effort marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Jordan Kaminsky continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 5-for-8 from downtown and almost dropping a double-double with 22 points and nine boards. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 43.9% three-point shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Preston DeVito, who posted 11 points.

The victory was the eighth in a row for Heath, bringing their record for this year to 21-2. As for Lakewood, their loss was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-20.

We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up. Heath will need to watch out since Bloom-Carroll has now posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups. Lakewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
