Rayne had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 14-run drubbing they dealt Westgate on Tuesday. The Rayne Wolves never let the Westgate Tigers get on the board and left with a 14-0 win. This was payback for the Wolves, who suffered a 4-3 loss the last time these two teams met.

Caydon Stakes looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance gave him a new career-low in hits.

On the hitting side, Mark Frederick was a standout: he scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Lon Paul Moody was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
