Preview: Absegami Braves vs. Shawnee Renegades
After four games on the road, Absegami is heading back home. They will take on the Shawnee Renegades at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Last Friday, things could have been worse for Absegami, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 66-52 loss to Mainland Regional. While losing is never fun, Absegami can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 112th, while Mainland Regional is ranked sixth).
Meanwhile, Shawnee didn't have too much trouble with Seneca at home on Thursday as they won 47-28. The win was just what Shawnee needed coming off of a 44-21 loss in their prior game.
Absegami has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-12 record this season. As for Shawnee, their win bumped their record up to 14-8.
