After losing to Cherokee Trail the last time they met, Valor Christian decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Eagles blew past the Cougars 3-0 on Tuesday.

While Valor Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-21, 25-23.

Reed Fisk paced Valor Christian's offense, picking up 15 kills. Fisk got some help from Darren Wright and his 39 assists. Lincoln Jessen controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Valor Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Cherokee Trail, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.
