Soccer Recap: Hickory's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Hickory lost against Charlotte Catholic back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Red Tornadoes fell 4-2 to the Cougars. The loss put an end to Hickory's undefeated start to the season.

NATHAN 'NATE' PEREZ and BRAEDEN MCCOURT scored both of Hickory's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Hickory fell to 1-1-1. As for Charlotte Catholic, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Hickory didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Alexander Central on the 26th. As for Charlotte Catholic, they have also already played their next game, a 5-0 win against Cardinal Gibbons on the 22nd.
