Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Denver City). Everything went their way against the Crane Cranes on Tuesday as the Denver City Mustangs made off with a 22-1 victory. Considering the Mustangs have won eight games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Annie Gonzalez, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, five stolen bases, and three runs. Another player making a difference was Jasmyn Villarreal, who scored three runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Denver City was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .550. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .318 or higher in three consecutive matchups.

Denver City's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Crane, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Denver City has already played their next contest, a 12-2 victory against Stanton on the 15th. As for Crane, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 21-4 loss against Compass Academy on the 15th.
