Baseball Recap: Holt Takes a Loss

Holt managed to slip by Grand Ledge the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Rams came up short against the Comets on Friday, falling 15-3. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Comets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Holt's loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Grand Ledge, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Coming up, Holt will head out on the road to challenge Okemos at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Rams will need to watch out since the Wolves have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches. As for Grand Ledge, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 12-1 defeat against West Ottawa on the 19th.
