Basketball Recap: Butte Valley Takes a Loss

Butte Valley was the 58-54 winner over Big Valley when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Butte Valley Bulldogs were beaten by the Big Valley Cardinals 62-31 on Wednesday.

Butte Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Big Valley, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Butte Valley will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hoopa Valley at 1:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. After both having extra time off, Big Valley and Burney will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 6:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
