Volleyball Recap: Lindenhurst Takes a Loss

Lindenhurst was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Connetquot T-Birds. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the T-Birds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Lindenhurst's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Connetquot, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-2-1 record this season.

Connetquot has already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Smithtown West on the 4th. Hopefully Lindenhurst paid attention to the T-Birds' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the T-Birds at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
