Softball Game Preview: West Windsor-Plainsboro North Knights vs. Allentown Redbirds

West Windsor-Plainsboro North hasn't had much luck against Allentown recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Knights are taking a road trip to square off against the Redbirds at 4:15 p.m.

West Windsor-Plainsboro North's last matchup with Burlington Township could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Thursday. The Knights came up short against the Falcons, falling 10-3. The loss leaves the Knights still looking for their first win of the season.

Allentown came out on top against Ewing on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fourth inning. The Redbirds walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Blue Devils. The Redbirds haven't had any issues with the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

West Windsor-Plainsboro North's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Allentown, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.

West Windsor-Plainsboro North might still be hurting after the 9-0 loss they got from Allentown in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
