Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Catholic Central walked away with it. Their defense stepped up to hand the St. Francis Gladiators a 3-0 shutout on Friday. The result was nothing new for Catholic Central, who have now won seven contests by three goals or more so far this season.

The win (which was Catholic Central's sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-6-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those six matchups. As for St. Francis, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-9-2.

As of now, neither Catholic Central nor the Gladiators have any future games scheduled.
