A Season-Best Performance from Kj Perry Leads Nease over Atlantic Coast

Nease was led to victory by Kj Perry, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Perry rushed for 143 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023.

If the past is any indication, Perry could be in store for another big game when he takes on Tocoi Creek on Friday. Back in November of 2023 (the last time Perry saw the Toros), he rushed for 116 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries.

Arthur Lewis IV Dazzles in Bartram Trail Defeat

Arthur Lewis IV continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his seventh-straight game with at least 109 rushing yards. He rushed for 109 yards and three touchdowns.

Bartram Trail now has a losing record at 3-4. Lewis IV and Bartram Trail will challenge Buchholz at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Nate Harry and Co. Win Sixth in a Row

Nate Harry was instrumental in extending Nease's winning streak to six on Friday. Atlantic Coast had no answer to Harry as he rushed for 56 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, and also threw for 127 yards and a touchdown.

This season, Harry has thrown 13 touchdowns while averaging 188.7 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 19.8 passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 107.2 passer rating.

Julio Santiago Crosses Big Stat Threshold

Tocoi Creek was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Julio Santiago did his best to prevent it. Santiago was excellent, picking up 127 receiving yards and a touchdown. The performance once again pushed his average receiving yardage north of 100 yards per game (106.2).

Tocoi Creek is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4. Santiago and Tocoi Creek will face off against Nease at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Noah Hodge Turns in Season-Best Performance

Noah Hodge's big game helped extend Nease's winning streak to six on Friday. Hodge picked up a sack and made six total tackles (2.0 for loss), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long.

On the season, Hodge has averaged 6.8 total tackles per game and for the season has those 1 sack. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 2.17 total tackles per game.
