Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Freeport). They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the East Allegheny Wild Cats on Friday. The Yellowjackets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

Freeport is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for East Allegheny, they dropped their record down to 0-14 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

Freeport wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 7-2 victory against Yough on the 28th.
