Soccer Game Preview: Sequim vs. Olympic

Sequim is 9-1 against Olympic since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Wolves will face off against the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Sequim will head out to face Olympic after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. Wolves lost 4-0 to Bainbridge. While losing is never fun, Sequim can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 148th, while Bainbridge are ranked fifth).

Meanwhile, Olympic didn't have quite enough to beat North Mason on Thursday and fell 2-1. Olympic have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Olympic's loss dropped their record down to 4-8-2. As for Sequim, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Everything went Sequim's way against Olympic when the teams last played back in March, as Sequim made off with a 4-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wolves since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
