Glenbard North suffered their closest defeat since May 7, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Wheaton North Falcons by a score of 3-1. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Falcons earlier this season, when they won 6-4.

Glenbard North has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 14 of their last 17 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-17 record this season. As for Wheaton North, their victory bumped their record up to 13-15-1.

While Glenbard North had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
