Orlando Christian Prep waltzed into their game on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They were the clear victor by a 15-5 margin over the Calvary Chapel Academy Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Eli Embriz was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits. Embriz was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

In other batting news, Orlando Christian Prep got a massive performance out of Jorge Martinez, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave Martinez a new career-high in doubles (two). Kayner Mejia also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Orlando Christian Prep was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .441. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Calvary Chapel Academy only posted a batting average of .280.

Orlando Christian Prep's record now sits at 6-1. As for Calvary Chapel Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

Coming up, Orlando Christian Prep is taking a road trip to face off against Geneva at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Geneva is on a six-game streak of home wins, Orlando Christian Prep a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field. As for Calvary Chapel Academy, they will host Master's Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
