Volleyball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They came up short against the Miami Trace Panthers, falling 3-0. If the Blue Lions were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Panthers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-3, 25-15.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Miami Trace to victory, but perhaps none more so than Keionnie Ackley, who had ten digs and two assists. Ackley is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Miami Trace, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

Washington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Jackson on the 18th. As for Miami Trace, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Hillsboro on the 18th.
