Basketball Recap: Haines Comes Up Short

Haines was the 54-47 winner over Craig when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Haines Glacier Bears were just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 55-54 to the Craig Panthers.

Haines dropped their record down to 3-9 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Craig, their record is now 11-8.

While Haines had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
