Volleyball Recap: Hill Falcons vs. Westmont Warriors
Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They came up short against the Westmont Warriors, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.
Hill was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 20 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-20, 25-20.
Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Westmont, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.
We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hill is set to take on their familiar foe Ann Sobrato at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Westmont will face off against rival Oak Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in the Warriors' favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while the Eagles have been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.
