Softball Recap: Thursday's Defeat Ends Herron's Winning Streak

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Herron can now relate to. They lost 16-0 to the Cathedral Fighting Irish on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 22 runs in the game before, the Achaeans' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Herron moved to 12-12 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Cathedral, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 25-2.

Herron does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cathedral, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 13-0 victory against Lebanon on the 3rd.
