Soccer Game Preview: Sherman vs. Greenville

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Sherman face off against the Greenville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday... Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Sherman is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Melissa on Friday. Neither Sherman nor Melissa could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Greenville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 11-0 to Walnut Grove. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 593rd, while the Wildcats are ranked 13th).

Greenville's loss dropped their record down to 0-9-1. Sherman's draw gives them a new season record of 6-4-1.
