Soccer Recap: Monticello Takes a Loss

Monticello was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Urbana Tigers, falling 5-0. If Monticello were looking for revenge after losing 5-1 to Urbana when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Monticello's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-1. As for Urbana, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Monticello will face off against St. Joseph-Ogden at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Monticello's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Urbana, they will challenge Bloomington at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
