Softball Recap: Hackley Takes a Loss

Hackley has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging four runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They came up short against the St. Luke's Storm, falling 14-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Hornets in their meetings with the Storm: they've now lost three in a row.

Hackley's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for St. Luke's, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Storm beat Hackley by a score of 14-3 later that day.
