Baseball Recap: Brewbaker Tech Comes Up Short

After flying high against Carver Montgomery on Saturday, Brewbaker Tech came back down to earth. The Rams fell just short of the Alabama Christian Academy Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

Brewbaker Tech saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Myles Bryant, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI. Those doubles marked the first that Bryant has hit this season.

Brewbaker Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Alabama Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-4.

Looking ahead, Brewbaker Tech will challenge Montgomery Academy on Thursday. As for Alabama Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Montgomery Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season.
