Silas Midgyett Crosses Big Stat Threshold

Starting off the list is Chillicothe's Silas Midgyett, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Midgyett rushed for 260 yards and two touchdowns. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (114.6). That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2023.

The win got Chillicothe back to even at 4-4. Midgyett and Chillicothe will square off against Benton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

The win was the seventh in a row for St. Pius X, bringing their record for this year to 7-1. Cruse and St. Pius X will face off against Savannah at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Gage Bowland Turns in Another Game with at Least Six Total Tackles

Gage Bowland produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Savannah to the win on Friday. Bowland wasn't messing around, picking up a sack, forcing a fumble, and making 13 total tackles (3.0 for loss). The matchup was his eighth straight with six or more total tackles dating back to last season.

The victory (which was Savannah's fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Bowland and Savannah will square off against St. Pius X at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
