Rowe is a perfect 8-0 against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Rowe will host Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Rowe has nine straight victories, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest has eight straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Rowe made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Palmview, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Rowe was the clear victor by an 8-2 margin over Palmview on Tuesday.
JC Garza Jr. made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single hit in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Matthew Garza was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Zavier Garcia, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI and one double.
Rowe kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in eight consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest fell victim to Sharyland and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Rattlers, falling 11-0.
Rowe's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-6. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.
Rowe was able to grind out a solid win over Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest when the teams last played back in March of 2024, winning 5-0. Will Rowe repeat their success, or does Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
