Flag Football Recap: Heritage Academy Starts Season with Win on the Road

Heritage Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 16-6 win over the Gilbert Christian Knights.

Despite the loss, Gilbert Christian saw an underclassman step up: freshman Alexa Enman picked up 123 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 49 yards. Enman really caught the secondary sleeping when she pulled down a catch that went for 86 yards.

Heritage Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 41-0 victory against Highland Prep on the 23rd. As for Gilbert Christian, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Scottsdale Preparatory Academy on the 18th.
