Softball Recap: Weldon Extends Road Winning Streak to Seven

Weldon won the last time they faced KIPP P and things went their way on Thursday too. Weldon blew past KIPP P 17-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chargers.

Mazaria McGee was a standout: she scored two runs and stole five bases. Semiyah Graham was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.

Weldon's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for KIPP P, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.
