Recap: Boonville Pioneers vs. Evansville Harrison Warriors
The Boonville Pioneers lost against the Evansville Harrison Warriors back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Boonville was outmatched by Evansville Harrison on the road and fell 88-50. Boonville has struggled against Evansville Harrison recently, as their game on Tuesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Evansville Harrison can attribute much of their success to Shane Sims, who scored 18 points along with 5 assists and 5 steals. The game was Sims' third in a row with at least ten points. Kaiden Bard was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 6 assists.
Boonville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Evansville Harrison, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boonville will challenge Tecumseh at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Evansville Harrison, they will head out on the road to face off against Castle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Castle focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 last Tuesday.
