Volleyball Recap: Northwestern Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Northwestern won the last time they faced Tri-Central and things went their way on Saturday too. The Tigers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Trojans. The win was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Ava Schultz paced Northwestern's offense, picking up seven kills. Schultz got some help from Nahla Cote and her 13 assists. Eliana Carlson controlled things from the service line, finishing with 12 aces.

Northwestern's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Tri-Central, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwestern will head out to face off against Lewis Cass at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Tri-Central, they will take on Western at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
