Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Central Columbia). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Milton Black Panthers a 17-0 shutout on Monday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bluejays needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Central Columbia moved to 3-7 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak. As for Milton, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Looking ahead, Central Columbia will welcome Danville at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bluejays will need to watch out since the Ironmen have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches. As for Milton, they will be playing at home against Midd-West at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
