Softball Recap: Naples Triumphs

Naples's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They never let the South Fort Myers Wolfpack get on the board and left with a 16-0 win. The Golden Eagles haven't had any issues with the Wolfpack recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Audrina Torres was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Annabelle Stamper, who went 1-for-2 with six stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Naples always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .783. The last time their OBP was this high was was before the start of last season.

The win got Naples back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Naples will take on Neumann at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Fort Myers, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cypress Lake at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
