Basketball Recap: Eisenhower's Win Ends Seven-Game Losing Streak at Home

Eisenhower won the last time they faced Selah and things went their way on Friday too. The Eisenhower Cadets slipped by the Selah Vikings 47-46. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cadets.

Eisenhower can attribute much of their success to Nekha Roehl, who posted ten points in addition to seven boards and seven steals. Another player making a difference was Melia Contreras, who put up five points and seven rebounds.

When it comes to explaining why Selah lost, don't look at Elise Kingston. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Makenna Pepper, who went 5 of 8 on her way to 15 points.

Eisenhower's victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-0.

Eisenhower didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 75-69 loss against Hermiston on the 10th. As for Selah, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 55-48 win against Naches Valley on the 7th.
