Baseball Recap: Buffalo Takes a Loss

St. Michael-Albertville hit Buffalo with a seven-run second inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bison came up short against the Knights, falling 11-5. The Bison haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Buffalo got a good showing from NOLAN HANSON, who pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. HANSON has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Buffalo saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was ISAAC HILL, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Buffalo's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for St. Michael-Albertville, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
